MICROBLADING AFTERCARE

70% of the success of your microblading results are in the aftercare so please read and follow the below guidelines carefully.

STAGE 1

30 minutes after the Microblading treatment gently cleanse your eyebrows using the cotton pads provided.

Take care not to stretch the skin and always wipe in the same direction the hair grows.

This will remove any excess lymph fluid and therefore prevent formation of scabs, which can seriously affect pigment retention.

STAGE 2

One hour after treatment wipe the brows again using the cotton pads.

Repeat this process every hour (max 5 times a day) until bed time when you should apply the supplied Phi patches to the brows, for protection whilst sleeping.

STAGE 3

In the next 9 days wiping is not required because lymph will no longer be coming out.

You may use the balm provided, should you feel the need but no more than 3-5 times a day.  The balm should always be used sparingly and completely avoided (if possible) on oily skin.  A ‘dry heal’ will always lead to the best results; however the brows may feel itchy and so the balm can be used to soothe this. Should you use the balm, make sure the brows are completely dry (pat with a tissue if necessary) and can still breathe.

IN THE FIRST 10 DAYS IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE EYEBROWS DO NOT GET WET WHILE WASHING THE FACE OR SHOWERING.

During the first 14 days you must also avoid:

  • All creams (except the balm provided)

  • All makeup (foundation) in the eyebrow area

  • Exercise that cause excessive sweating / Saunas / Facial massage

For the first 30 days avoid:

  • Suntanning / sunbeds

  • Light (laser) therapy

  • Chemical peels / fruit acids

  • Microdermabrasion

  • Creams that contain regeneration factors

  • Any laser treatments (Fraxel laser, IPL) because they can destroy the pigment and cause inflammation.

Please also note:

  • Faster fading out of pigment can happen when using antibiotics or hormonal therapy.

  • Sunscreen should always be worn to protect your eyebrows as the sun will cause fading
